[Real Weddings] Thuy-Thao & Jose - June 25th, 2011

This was my husband's college friend's wedding and one of the very unique weddings that I have attended. The scheme color was yellow/gold (yeah, you can tell by looking at the pictures), and the main flower was tulip. The reception was held in the Portuguese Club of Hartford in Connecticut. All setups were taken care of by wedding professionals. The florist, my husband and I might be the only friends of the bride there. I like them all, very professional and friendly people. The reception started at 4:00 PM and lasted until midnight. The couple was beautiful (the bride looked like an Egyptian princess), the foods were delicious,... Such a fantastic and fun wedding!

Wishing every moment of your life would be filled with laughs and happiness as every minute at your wedding!

Hope to see you two again soon, Mr. & Mrs. Estevam!

[Real Weddings] Hoang & Hoi - June 11th, 2011

This wedding was special and a little bit challenging to me because I was booked three days before the wedding (after the bride saw my works at the first wedding). With the rush, I had no other choice than using the same materials with the same color as for the first wedding. But of course, I wanted to create something different and special for the bride-to-be as much as she did too.

[Real Weddings] Vivian & Thanh - June 5th, 2011

This was my mom's wedding. I almost did everything for her: planning, designing, decorating (with helps of many family members and friends), entertaining,... The thing that I really loved about my mom's wedding (except the fact that I love her) was that all wedding "professionals" were our family members and friends:

* My coordinator & #1 helper: Than Nguyen (my husband)
* Photographers: Duy Ly - main (my brother's close friend), Thien Le - second shooter (my brother)
* Videographers: Khanh Le - main (my cousin), Truc Luong (my neighbor & my cousin's close friend)
* DJ: The Huy Phan (my sister's friend's friend)
* MC: Vuong Nguyen - main (my brother-in-law), Loc Nguyen (my sister's friend)
* Flowers: Lai Ly (my sister-in-law), Katherina Tran (my cousin)
* Decoration: di Hao (my aunt), Lai Ly, Katherina Tran, Kevin Tran, Stephen Ly, Vy Vu, Thien Le, Duy Ly, Truc Luong,...
* Hair & Makeup: Nhi Le (my sister)
* Guest Greeters: Binh Pham, Vy Vu, Minh-Ngoc Le
* "Local" Singers (and by "local", I meant "my mom's reception", but I call them all "singers" because they have very beautiful voices): Loc Nguyen (my sister's friend), Nhi Le (my sister), Vuong Nguyen (my brother-in-law), Trang (my sister's friends), Cam-Yen Le (my cousin), Thuy Nguyen (my cousin's cousin), chi Phung (my friend's wife), di Hao (my aunt), bac Minh trai & gai (my uncle & aunt), chu Phi & co Khanh (Stephen's relatives), chu Loi (my mom's friend), Thien Le, Lai Ly, Stephen Ly, Vy Vu, Cuong Nguyen,...
* And more... (please let me know if I missed anyone)

I had a lot of fun, and hope that everybody did too. Thank you very much for all supports and helps!

[Real Weddings] Thu & Dang - June 4th, 2011

This was my very first wedding doing flowers and decoration. The groom is my husband's friend, and the bride became my friend after two months working together to create what she liked. Her scheme colors were lavender and David Bridal's watermelon/hot pink (the color of bridesmaid's dress). Her preferred flower was white lily. She also preferred not to have too many flowers; the simpler, the better. And here we are: Chau Chow Restaurant in Dorchester after being decorated.
